Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $10.44 – $11.07 per hour (Plus applicable shift differentials and built-in overtime!)
Shifts Available: Weekday, Mon-Wed, every other Thurs 8am-8pm, Weekend Day Fir-Sun every other Thurs 8am-8pm

Davis Stuart is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Youth Support Specialists to join our direct-care team in Lewisburg. In this role, you aren’t just filling a shift—you are providing vital stability, safety, and mentorship to youth working through behavioral challenges and past trauma.

What You Will Do

  • Daily Supervision: Maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment for resident youth.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with clinicians and case managers to reinforce individual treatment plans.
  • Documentation: Keep precise, objective daily logs, progress reports, and medication charts.
  • Transportation: Drive company vehicles to escort residents to off-campus appointments or community outings.
  • Crisis De-escalation: Provide supportive, trauma-informed guidance during high-stress situations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Age Requirement: Must be 23 years of age or older to comply with West Virginia residential childcare licensing regulations (No exceptions can be made per state law).
  • Background Clearance: Ability to pass a mandatory fingerprint background check and registry clearance through WV CARES and APS/CPS.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. (Note: Our tests detect THC, but you will not be penalized for legal hemp/delta variant use with prior disclosure and a store receipt/packaging).
